Most resume builders give everyone the same blank form and the same three templates. We built a site where the occupation comes first: type the job and the page already knows which duties, tools, certifications and salary numbers belong to it — then prints a one-page resume that looks exactly like the preview, in Word, in PDF and on paper. Around it: 475 filled-in templates, salary pages for 788 occupations, an ATS check and two letter generators.
A nurse, a truck driver and a software developer do not need the same resume. They need different sections, different wording and different proof. The site had to carry that difference for every occupation in the federal labour survey — without anyone writing 788 pages by hand.
Every tool reads the same occupation record, so the resume, the template page, the pay page and the letters always agree with each other.
Type the job, pick a design, fill the details, fit to one page and download. Four steps, about fifteen minutes.
/write-my-resume/475 one-page resumes, already filled in for real jobs, career stages and formats. Open one, change the name, download.
/resume-templates/What 788 occupations pay — the middle, the spread, where a first job lands — nationally and in every state.
/salaries/Shows exactly what a tracking system extracts from your file — structure and reading order — checked in the browser.
/ats-check/Job, company, two or three strengths and one result with a number in; a one-page letter out, in the same design as the resume.
/cover-letter/The letter a manager or teacher is asked to write, drafted from the occupation and edited right on the sheet.
/reference-letter/The builder walks the same path the home page shows. Each step only asks for what the chosen resume actually contains.
How long you have been working and whether you are a student. A graduate and a fifteen-year engineer get different template families from the start.
A filtered gallery of one-page layouts, five colour sets each. Every design is drawn from scratch and checked in Word, PDF and print before it ships.
Contact, jobs, education and the occupation fields. The form mirrors the resume — a photo field only for designs with a photo. Suggestions come from the site's own phrase base, no language model and no waiting.
A glass dock at the bottom edge: section order, font, size, spacing, colour, alignment, with a live one-page check. Then .docx, .pdf or print, Letter or A4.
Each occupation has its own page under /resume-templates/. Here is what the RN resume page carries — every block is built from the occupation record, not typed by hand.
Anchored in the compact license, with med-surg and telemetry assignment and current ACLS close behind.
One pageATS-safe layoutFree, no sign-upThat sentence opens a real page, generated from BLS OEWS 2025 for one of 788 occupations. Below it: the spread, the gap between states, the rank, two calculators and the resumes written for that line of work.
Two federal datasets feed the whole site. Everything a visitor types stays on their own device.
The builder keeps the resume on the device until you choose to save it to an account.
Files are read on the page only — nothing is uploaded to a server.
Nothing typed into the cover letter form is sent anywhere.
Phrase suggestions come from the site's own base built from O*NET — instant, and free to run.
Templates are described once in the resume engine plugin; Word, PDF and print are generated from that single description. That is why the .docx looks like the preview.
Every template and salary page is an actual WordPress post, so titles and descriptions are editable in Rank Math and nothing disappears when a plugin is switched off.
Hundreds of pages went live at launch; the rest are scheduled and publish a handful a day, so the sitemap grows like a real site instead of in one dump.
Each template has a readable address. Builder links are assembled on click, and builder variants are closed in robots.txt instead of being indexed as duplicates.
Headings, blocks and the order of blocks vary between occupations while the meaning stays — 788 pages, not one page 788 times.
Name only in the header or the main column, no divider at the page edge, sidebars never cut off, one page by default — two at most beyond five years.
Occupation, template, phrases, salary and export are one chain. Nothing on the site is typed twice, and the footer of every page says it plainly: built by Wireclad.
Describe it in two sentences — we reply within a day with a plan and a first screen.
