Tiersi:
type the job, get the finished resume.

Most resume builders give everyone the same blank form and the same three templates. We built a site where the occupation comes first: type the job and the page already knows which duties, tools, certifications and salary numbers belong to it — then prints a one-page resume that looks exactly like the preview, in Word, in PDF and on paper. Around it: 475 filled-in templates, salary pages for 788 occupations, an ATS check and two letter generators.

The brief

One generic form
fits no one.

A nurse, a truck driver and a software developer do not need the same resume. They need different sections, different wording and different proof. The site had to carry that difference for every occupation in the federal labour survey — without anyone writing 788 pages by hand.

A typical resume builder
  • Asks for a job title, then ignores it
  • Three or four templates for every job
  • Empty boxes — you invent every line
  • Word file drifts from the preview
  • Account and paywall before the download
  • Pay data from somewhere, unsourced
Tiersi
  • The job title drives sections, phrases and certifications
  • 475 templates across 31 fields, each with its own layout
  • Real duties, tools and credentials already filled in
  • Word, PDF and print rendered from one layout — identical
  • Free, no sign-up, the draft stays in your browser
  • BLS OEWS 2025, published as reported, with the source on every page
What we built

Six tools,
one data chain.

Every tool reads the same occupation record, so the resume, the template page, the pay page and the letters always agree with each other.

How the builder works

Four steps from a question
to the file.

The builder walks the same path the home page shows. Each step only asks for what the chosen resume actually contains.

Registered nurses earn $97,550 a year at the midpoint.

That sentence opens a real page, generated from BLS OEWS 2025 for one of 788 occupations. Below it: the spread, the gap between states, the rank, two calculators and the resumes written for that line of work.

Under the hood

Public data in.
Nothing personal out.

Two federal datasets feed the whole site. Everything a visitor types stays on their own device.

🔒The draft stays in your browser

The builder keeps the resume on the device until you choose to save it to an account.

⌁The ATS check runs locally

Files are read on the page only — nothing is uploaded to a server.

✎Letters are written in the browser

Nothing typed into the cover letter form is sent anywhere.

∅No model, no keys

Phrase suggestions come from the site's own base built from O*NET — instant, and free to run.

Engineering decisions

Rules in code,
not in someone's memory.

01One layout, three outputs

Templates are described once in the resume engine plugin; Word, PDF and print are generated from that single description. That is why the .docx looks like the preview.

02Real pages, not virtual ones

Every template and salary page is an actual WordPress post, so titles and descriptions are editable in Rank Math and nothing disappears when a plugin is switched off.

03Steady publishing

Hundreds of pages went live at launch; the rest are scheduled and publish a handful a day, so the sitemap grows like a real site instead of in one dump.

04One canonical copy

Each template has a readable address. Builder links are assembled on click, and builder variants are closed in robots.txt instead of being indexed as duplicates.

05Pages that are not copies

Headings, blocks and the order of blocks vary between occupations while the meaning stays — 788 pages, not one page 788 times.

06Design rules, checked per template

Name only in the header or the main column, no divider at the page edge, sidebars never cut off, one page by default — two at most beyond five years.

Results

Name the job.
The page is already written.

Occupation, template, phrases, salary and export are one chain. Nothing on the site is typed twice, and the footer of every page says it plainly: built by Wireclad.
